Saturday we collected to hopefully view the Perseid Meteor Shower, but really just to sit around a campfire on the beach. The waves of Lake Michigan, the rustle of the dune grass and the slow soft conversation of friends and family. Denver, Livonia, Chicago and Grand Haven, scattered parts of a whole, family in the true sense of the word. Laughter, love and connections, that's sometime all we need:)

I miss our rides to school. I take the streetcar or walk now.This week alone as Zander starts Friday and Aniken Monday and then they will be my company. Hope all is well with you. I think of you often and was telling Eva about you yesterday!! You can meet her when you come visit.
